2014-2015 PJBT season ready to roll – season 16 begins weekend of aug 17

It is hard to believe that Season 16 of the PJBT begins this coming Sunday, August 17th.Our kickoff tournament will be at 222 Dutch Lanes in Ephrata, PA  starting at 10:30am.  Plan to come out early as a large crowd will be in attendance.New features to this year’s schedule include:new awards system for honor scores….one new center added into our schedule….a record 5 adult/jr events / 4 doubles events and our team tourn and team championship will all bring exciting compeitition to the events.Another new feature is our scholarship payout for girls….this year ShotMakers Pro Shop and Lane Tamers Pro Shop have teamed up to sponsor our Major Events for girls.  All 10 Major Events will payout the top finishing Girl and 2nd High Girl with scholarships.  This effort is to continue forward our growth of youth bowling in an effort to get more women involved this season.In addition, we are going to conduct 8 Junior Gold Only Qualifier Tournaments.  By separating them from the normal events….this allows us to specifically run separate divisions for boys and girls in ALL age groups.  We hope to make a continued effort to grow our team for the National Youth Event in Chicago for 2015.All in all, much work has to be done to prepare for Sunday Aug 17 but the PJBT Tournament Crew is hard at work!  We hope to see all of you on the 17th!
