Ritter, Forrest tops at Mountainville

65 bowlers visited Mountainville Bowling Center for the 26th PJBT event of the season. Garth Ritter won his second career title in scratch, by a pin.  He qualified third entering match play, and defeated Bradley Crouse and Layne Sandt in his first two stepladder matches.  Needing a mark and 7 in the 10th frame against Tom Barna Jr., he got the spare and 7.  The 194-193 win earned Ritter the $200 top scholarship prize. Newcomer Collin Forrest won his first title in handicap.  He led qualifying, averaging 188.  He defeated Sam Unterberg in the final, 193-163.  Forrest earned the $225 top scholarship prize for winning. Charles Kollar earned his entry to Junior Gold in Buffalo.
