The Adult Bowlers Tour continued our 7th season with Event #5 of the year.  This event was one of the most unique and successful events we have had in our history!  The event was a singles event but we combined forces with Rotogrip Rick Mitchell and helped conduct his Hayden Mitchell Memorial Tournament.  Each year he typically does this event on his own but we joined forces to get a stronger and bigger field for the event.  And we did!  A record 79 bowlers came out to compete on Blue #2 Pattern.  Needless to say….scores were high but bowlers enjoyed the large field event.

Kelly McCutheon of Harrisburg, PA took home the title.  The field only had 5 girls competing of 79 but Kelly was able to beat everyone and take home the $1000 Victory!  McCutheon shot qualifying games of 233, 198, 246, 278, 225 and 246 for 1426 (+226).  She was seeded 6th of 6 bowlers entering the finals in the NFL Bracket Finals Format.  We did cash 16 spots in the event.  Last cash spot was +148.  In the bracket final, McCutheon won 3 matches on her way to victory.  In her quarterfinal match, McCutheon defeated #3 seed Johnny DiSantis.  This advanced her to take on the #1 seed Chruck Crone in the semi-final.  McCutheon beat Chuck Crone and advanced to the title match to take on #2 seed Conrad Chapple.  McCutheon got off to a hot start and never looked back.  Kelly McCutheon took home the title and a $1000 check and Trophy for the win!

Congrats to Tim Wolfe and Ken Lukens who each shot perfect 300 games during qualifying.

Next Event:  Event #6 is our Over/Under 45 Doubles event at Hiester Lanes in Reading, PA.  Bowling begins at 12Noon on Sunday February 11.
