The PJBT held its 1st of our 11 Junior Gold Tournaments to qualify for 2016 Junior Gold Championships in Indianapolis.

Our event saw a record of 53 bowlers come out to try to qualify at our 1st event.

In the U20 Division, we qualified the top 3 bowlers in the boys division and top 2 bowlers in the girls division.  Jack Celmer, a regular PJBT bowler…qualified top seed after 4 games.  Seeded 2nd and winning his spot was Tristan Leyen of Maryland.  In 3rd place, Ben White, also won his spot.  For the women, Nicole Stambugh & Alexis Neuer finished 1/2 in their division to win their entry into Nationals.

In the U15 Division, we qualified the top bowler in both the boys and girls divisions.  Matthew Ward won his boys spot while Paige Boyd captured the top spot for girls.  Each advance to the national event.

In the U12 Division, Alexander Horton….a top finisher last year at U12 Junior Gold….captured his entry spot by beating out 3 others.  He now advances to Nationals.

Congrats to our 8 bowlers and they are the beginning of a long contingent of bowlers who will travel to Indy to represent PJBT and Pennsylvania at Junior Gold!
