Season #24 – Event 15 – New Years Eve Day Classic Event – SPECIAL 10 A.M. Start Time
Another Traditional Event for the PJBT is our Annual New Year’s Eve Day Classic!! This year’s event will have a unique special format to finish earlier for New Years Eve.
Top Prize: Guaranteed $200 Top Prize in Each Division – 2 Divisions of Scratch & Handicap
Entry Fee: $40 for PJBT Members / $45 for Non-Members
Unique Format: All bowlers bowl 5 games. The top 40% will advance to Game 6. We will bowl 1 game and the field will be cut in half. We will continue this format until we are down to 2-4 bowlers who will advance to the LIVESTREAM FINALS.

One of the biggest events of the PJBT Season is our DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS tournament. This major event draws in PJBT bowlers of past from college and regulars for a big Major Singles Event.

Format: Normal MAJOR Singles Format. 6 Games qualifying – top 40% of field advances to 3 game match-play round with scores carrying over. After 9 games, the top 4 bowlers in each division advance to our LIVESTREAMING Major Format Final.

Format: DUAL PATTERN Event
6 Games Qualifying – Top 40% advance to the match play round. Round 2 is 3 games of match play with scores carrying forward. At the completion of 8 games, the top bowlers (based on entries) will advance to our stepladder final.

Any bowlers under the Age of 21 as of 8/1/22 can compete in this event…youth or adult sanctioned.
Minimum Top Prizes: At Least $400 Scholarship in each Division ($200 per bowler). Payouts Usually More Based on Entries.
Entry Fee: $80 Per Team / $40 Per Bowler if at least $20 Deposit or more is Paid 1 Week in Advance of the Event. Within 6 Days of the Event, entry is $90 Team / $45 a bowler.

Season #24 – Event 9 – The 2022 Bowling Center Championship @ Leisure Lanes
This 5-Person Team Event is one of our Biggest Events of the Year! Its a great opportunity for 21 and Under Age Bowlers to Compete with their home centers for scholarship and DONATIONS to their own JUNIOR LEAGUE programs!
5-Person Team Event – teammates must be sanctioned in same center unless approved by tournament management.
WINNING TEAMS in each division receive a $1000 scholarship ($200 per bowler) and a $500 DONATION to their junior league program.
Centers are permitted to enter as many teams as they choose as long as space permits. This event CAN ONLY TAKE A MAX OF 32 TEAMS (160 BOWLERS) Don’t miss out on this fun team tournament.
Format: 5 team games of qualifying. Individual games added together to make a score. The top 3 to 6 teams based on entries advance to the NFL Bracket Final. Final head to head matches are 1 game single elimination.

This is our new unique event we created in 2020 in the name of PJBT friend Steve Brown, who passed away in 2019 and was a great supporter and financial sponsor of the PJBT Bowling Series.
Event starts with Individual Singles Events. Adult Scratch / Youth Scratch / Youth Handicap. All bowlers bowl 6 games. Results of the Singles Event are final after six.
Top bowlers from each division then are setup in a blind draw doubles event. Doubles event is 3 games and a stepladder finals format for additional scholarship & cash prizes.

Format: All bowlers will bowl 6 games, but only each bowlers top 5 scores will count for qualifying, (get to throw low score out) – Top 40% advance to the match play round. Round 2 is 3 games of match play with scores carrying forward. At the completion of 8 games, the top bowlers (based on entries) will advance to our stepladder final.
Season #24 – Event 7 – Major #3 @ ABC North
Format: 6 Games of Qualifying for all competitors. The top 40% in each division will advance to Round 2. Round 2 is 3 additional games of head-to-head match play. Scores from the qualifying round is carried forward. At the completion of 9 games, the top bowlers in each division will advance to our MAJOR format finals.
Entry Fee: Members $40 – Non-Members $45 – Entry is only $40 if you pay for the Season Long PJBT Membership $35. Membership & Entry can be paid online with credit/debit card.
Season #24 – Event 6 – Adult/Jr. @ Bowlero Berks Lanes
This event will follow our regular season format with 5 games of qualifying for all teams. The top 40% of each division will advance to round 2. In round 2, teams will bowl 3 additional games. At the completion of 8 games, the top “so many announced teams” will advance to our finals. The finals format will be announced the day of the tournament.
Entry Fee: If a minimum $20 deposit is paid online by 11:59 p.m., October 9, 2022, the entry fee is $80 per team, otherwise, the entry fee is $90 per team.
** ALL SIGNUPS DONE ONLINE. ONLY walk-ins permitted if space permits & we do not expect to have walk-in space at most events **

Zombro Goes Back to Back while Griffin Notches 1st Win in 1-Ball Tournament at Berks Lanes
Congrats to Darren Zombro III & Hunter Griffin on winning the PJBT’s first 1-Ball Tournament. 
Zombro qualified 2nd out of 34 bowlers. He only trailed tournament leader Ayden Davis, who shot 2 “800+” series’ today. The title match was Davis vs Zombro. Zombro edged Davis in the title match to take home the $200 top prize and plaque for the win. 
Hunter Griffin, won his 1st title in his 1st PJBT event. Griffin was the tournament leader out of a 22 bowler field. He outlasted 4th seed Roman Schroeder in the title match to win $200 top prize & trophy.
Congrats to Ayden Davis who shot multiple honor scores today. He shot 299 during qualifying as part of his 810 series. Then in match play, Davis shot 801.
Shirk Goes 2 for 2 While Nahay Captures 1st at Girls Tournament at Haja Rose Bowl
Congratulations to Aliza Shirk and Riley Nahay on their victories at last weeks girls tournament at Haja Rose Bowl. Aliza beat Emma Fetterman in the finals of the scratch division to take home her 2nd girls title of the season. In the handicap division, Riley scored her first ever PJBT title when she bested Alyssa Randisi in a match that came down to the final frame. Congrats to both girls.
