Brent Tishuk Wins $1000 Top Prize at Parkway Lanes

The BuddiesProShop.com Adult Bowlers Tour continued its season at AMF Parkway Lanes in Allentown.  This event was another $1000 Guaranteed 1st Place Event Singles.

The event saw 36 Scratch Athletes take on the Athens Pattern.  Format was 6 games and the Top 6 bowlers remaining advanced to the NFL Bracket Final, single elimination.

On this day, our winner was Brent Tishuk.  Tishuk was our tournament leader after 6 games of qualifying.  Tishuk shot 1277 (+77) and led the field of 36.  He received a bye in Round 1 of the finals.  In his semi-final 1 game match, Tishuk took on Tyler Vitelli.  He won the match 228-185.  This propelled him into the title match vs #2 seed George Tomlinson.  Tomlinson won his semi-final match over Will Vidulich 194-133.  In the title match, it was shot for shot!  Tishuk finished the match first with a 201 score.  Tomlinson needed to double in the 10th frame to win.  He got the first strike but did not get the 2nd strike….and came out just short.  Tishuk defeated Tomlinson 201-196 to take home the $1000 top prize.
