Crouse, Erin Strickland, Smith win at hanover

Hanover Bowling Centre hosted both a youth and adult event, with three tour veterans taking home titles.  Special thanks to Storm for donating to the raffles.   Bradley Crouse won his 11th title, and 5th of the season in scratch.  He took the lead after going 3-0 in match play, and rolling 266 in the last game to go to plus 355.  Roger Harford Jr., who shot 298 in game five, climbed the ladder to reach the final.  Crouse struck 11 times for the 276-202 win.  Including brackets, he won $245 in scholarships.  John Mertz, who finished third, rolled 299 in game two and 300 in game six.   Erin Strickland won her 6th title in handicap.  She averaged 195 on the day, and defeating newcomer Jocelyn Hood, 202-160, in the final.  She earned the $200 top scholarship prize.     Kerry Smith won her second Brunswick/DV8 adult title.  In the semifinal, she split in the 10th.  Then, Scott Denlinger opened, and Smith advanced to face top-seed Kevin Beers.  Smith doubled in the 10th of the final to clinch the win, 212-193.
