Crouse, Forman win 222 dutch major, retain points leads

Sunday night, the Seattle Seahawks fulfilled one of their mottos in winning Super Bowl XLVIII… leave no doubt.  Earlier that day at 222 Dutch Lanes, both divisional points leaders left no doubt as to why they are tops in the standings.   Bradley Crouse’s amazing run of victories continued with his third consecutive title.  He averaged almost 235 for 11 games.  He shot 723 in match play, with three victories, and climbed to 2nd place.  In the final against top seed Steven Ritzman, he strung seven strikes to win, 245-203.  It’s Crouse’s 13th title and 7th in 11 events since November 10th.  His points lead now stretches to nearly 500.   Taylor Forman’s lead in handicap is now over 1,000 points, thanks to an impressive win for her 5th title.  She averaged 203 for 12 games, including 268 in game four.  She defeated newcomer Tony Lutz, 204-199, in the final.  Forman earned a $300 scholarship for her win.   Jamey Pfaff and Anthony Neuer earned entries to Junior Gold in Buffalo.   Brian Kennedy shot 300 in qualifying, Colby Reichenbach started with 299 in game one, and Neuer had 290 in game five.
