Crouse/Martell, Baker/Tassilo double up for wins

100 bowlers doubled up for our first doubles event of the season.  Special thanks to Gebhardt’s Pro Shop for sponsoring both of our Parkway Lanes events on back to back weeks. Bradley Crouse and Michael Martell may have been the shortest duo in the scratch division, but everyone was looking up to them in the standings after their victory.  Crouse averaged 232 and Martell averaged 220 in leading entering stepladders.  As anchor in the baker finals, Martell struck on the first ball of the 10th to clinch a 218-211 win over Chris DiPaola/Tyler Vitelli. Michael Baker and Tyler Tassilo earned their first titles in handicap.  Baker averaged 156 and Tassilo avergaed 192 on the day.  Their 169-165 finals win over Josh Honish/Ambrose Shirk was their third consecutive win in stepladders. All winners each earned a $175 scholarship.
