The BuddiesProShop.com Adult Bowlers Tour continued its season with a trip to Parkway Lanes for our 3rd event of the year.  This event was our first $35 discounted entry Singles Event.  For the first time, we tried a new style event where the entry fee was much less than our normal events but we didn’t guarantee the winner as high a payout.  We ended out paying the winner $600.

The turnout was pretty good for our first discounted singles event.  We had 49 entries for the event competing on a unique Kegel Pattern created by Doug Dukes at Kegel.  This was the first event with a Kegel Pattern that the scoring pace was higher than normal.

Owen Darby was our champion!  Darby began the day with an awesome 6 game block of 1558 (+358).  He shot games of 249, 258, 279, 258, 246, and 268.  He was seeded as the leader entering the 6 bowler NFL Bracket Final.  Darby received a bye in Round 1 and entered the finals in the semi-final match.  Darby took on Scott Denlinger and did not stop his striking ways!  Darby shot 279 and beat Denlinger 279-227.  This advanced Darby to the title match vs Brian Kasperowski.  Darby followed up his 279 semi-final game with a 289 title match game!  Darby shut out Kasperowski 289-227 to take home the title.  Darby won $600 for his win.

Congrats to our cashers in this month’s event.  Next event:  $1000 Guaranteed Singles at Town & Country Lanes on Dec 5th, 12 Noon.
