Dipaola & Wolgenmuth take titles at colony park north

The PJBT had our 4th event of the year in York, PA at Colony Park Lanes North.  Thanks to Rick Mitchell “Rotogrip Rick” for sponsoring our event.In scratch, we got our 4th state in 4 events to take home a title.  We had titles go to NY, MD, PA, and NJ on this day.  Chris DiPaola from New Jersey took home the win by qualifying 2nd at +20 on a tough Middle Road Pattern.  DiPaola only won 1 of his 3 match play games and slipped to 4th entering the finals.  DiPaola turned in around by walking up the ladder….winning every stepladder match.  He defeated Austin Curtiss 199-181, Roger Harford Jr 194-159, Kasey Sullivan 212-186, and Steve Ritzman 224-209 to win the title.In Handicap, Brett Wolgemuth became the first 2 time winner of the season.  Wolgemuth was the tournament leader after qualifying at +65.  Wolgemuth only won 1 out of 3 matches but was able to maintain the tournament lead entering the finals.  In the title match, Wolgemuth defeated Deron Gilbert 192-167.Thanks to all 78 entries who came out to bowl.
