Turnout for our annual pre-Thanksgiving Adult/Junior at Limerick Bowl never disappoints.  A nearly-full field of 95 teams collectively averaged over 200 per bowler.  Special thanks to BowlerX.com for their continued sponsorship. The scratch division was a close battle at the top all day… but the last team into the finals ended up as the champions.  Eric Erb and Kerry Smith rallied from a slow start to 12th after round one, and vaulted to 4th entering the four-team one-game finals.  Erb’s strike on the first ball of the 10th was one of seven he finished the game with, as he and Smith shot 474.  Brian Gaines/Devin Golden had 448, Courtney & Tim Stewart had 434, and Zack Dragovits/Jay Zagrodnik shot 385.  Erb’s 5th title earned him a $400 scholarship.  Smith won her 3rd title overall. It was a big day for the Davy family in handicap.  Josh Davy partnered with Olivia Bingaman to win his first title.  Davy’s older brother, Kyle, rolled a 300 in game one.  Kyle teamed with his mother, Donna, and finished 4th.  Davy/Bingaman were 3rd after qualifying and 2nd for stepladders.  They combined for 455 in winning.  Jennifer Fitts/Greg Bickta shot 422, Jakub & John Czerkies shot 361, and Kyle & Donna Davy had 350.  Josh Davy earned a $400 scholarship, and Bingaman won her 3rd title. Nick Cassium and Kiearra Saldi won their entries to Junior Gold 2014 in Buffalo.   Honor scores were shot by Darren Zombro Jr (813), Zagrodnik (890), Owen Darby (800), Chris Mullany (297), and Ryan Wyandt (290).
