The PJBT Bowling Series is kicking off Season 27 with our First Major Singles Event at ABC North Lanes in Harrisburg, PA.
This year’s events will be presented by BuddiesProShop.com, Brunswick and Rotogrip.
A new feature to our major event this year is to have 3 divisions competing. A New Girls Only Scratch Division have been added. Female bowlers are permitted to enter more than one division if they choose. (Can bowl in Overall Scratch & Scratch Girls or Handicap Division & Scratch Girls)
Scratch Division: Top Prize $500 Scholarship (based on 40 entries)
Women’s Only Division: Top Prize $250 Scholarship (based on 20 entries)
Handicap Division: Top Prize $300 Scholarship (based on 25 entries)
Entry Fee: $45 Members / $50 Non-Members – $60 Walk-in Entries
Membership Purchase: Any bowlers who purchase a PJBT Membership for the season receive a $5 discount at each singles & special announced events this year. If you plan to bowl in 7 or more events during the year — you can purchase the membership for $35 to save on entry fee throughout the entire season.
Format: This event will start at 9:30am. Checkin-Begins at 8:30am. Each bowler will bowl 6 qualifying games for our singles major format. After 6 games, the top 40% of each division will advance to Round 2. Round 2 Bowlers will bowl eliminator style matches while the top seed gets a bye to the finals. 2 Games of eliminator style conducted to get down to 3 bowlers / 4 with leader for finals. In finals, lowest seed bowls #1 seed while 2 others bowl head-to-head. Winners then bowl each other for the title.
