Glinski & Schneck capture major title at leisure

85 bowlers rolled into Leisure Lanes for the 2nd Major of the PJBT season.  We had 42 in scratch and 43 in handicap.In scratch, Alex Glinski of Linfield, PA captured his 1st ever PJBT title.  Glinski battled to the end to capture his 1st title.  After qualifying, Glinski had shot 1123 for 6 and was seeded 15th.  He shot a respectable 638 series in match play for 3 and won all his matches.  This propelled Glinski into 3rd place entering the finals.  In his quarterfinal match, Glinski defeated Kasey Sullivan 227-164.  In the semifinal match, Glinski defeated Tristan Leyen 222-199.  This advanced him to the title match vs top seed Ryan Goddard.  Goddard got off to a slow start and was never able to keep up with Glinski.  Glinski defeated Goddard in the title match 205-175.In Handicap, Spencer Schneck took home his 1st official PJBT title.  Spencer was seeded 5th after qualifying.   Spencer also won all 3 of his match play matches and was seeded 2nd entering the finals.  In his semi-final match, Schneck defeated Jennifer Williams 201-150.  He then took on 6th seed Jill Sprenkle in the final.  Schneck outlasted Sprenkle 180-172 to capture the title.Congrats to Ryan Goodard who shot 290 in Game 1 of qualifying and had the only honor score of the day.
