The PJBT conducted its 7 of 11 Junior Gold Only Qualifier Tournament on the Saturday before Easter.  This event saw 34 bowlers come out and compete for a chance to win an entry into the 2016 Junior Gold National Championships in Indianapolis.  The event is held in July 2016.

We qualified 6 bowlers on this day.  Based on entries, we qualified 3 bowlers in the Under 20 (u20) Division, 2 Bowlers in the Under 15 (u15) Division, and the top Under 12 (u12) Bowler.

In U20 Boys Division, Joseph Valeri won his spot.  Valeri shot 850 for 4 games and finished 43 pins ahead of the field to capture his spot.  He shot games of 215, 220, 223, and 192 on the challenging Seoul Pattern.

In U20 Girls, we had the most entries of the day with 11.  Due to this, we qualified the top 2 Girls from this division.  Our division winner was Jamie Lee Kulaga.  Kulaga shot games of 191, 201, 236, and 223 for 851 or +51.  She won the qualifier by 16 pins over 2nd Place bowler Jenna Rapach.  Rapach, by finishing 2nd, also won her Junior Gold Spot.  Rapach shot games of 197, 181, a tournament high 266, and 191 for 835 (+35).  Rapach finished 29 pins ahead of the 3rd place girl.

In U15 Boys, Tony Lutz won the qualifier and his spot.  Lutz shot games of 173, 254, 175, and 200 for 802 (+2).  Lutz was the only bowler in the division to finish plus.  He defeated the 2nd place bowler by 18 pins to win the spot.

In U15 Girls, Sydney Pleasanton won her spot.  Sydney shot games of 170, 176, 222, and 226 for a 4 Game Total of 794 (-6).  She won the qualifier by 23 pins over the 2nd place U15 Girl.
