The PJBT kicked off its 17th Season with its 1st Major Event of the Year at 222 Dutch Lanes. Every year, our first event draws in a record amount of entries to get our season started. This season did not disappoint. We had 133 bowlers competing on this day….79 in Scratch and 54 in Handicap. The competitors took on the 2013 Women’s Nationals Pattern for the first event.
Format included 6 games of qualifying for a major, top 40% bowled 3 games of match play, and the top 4 advanced to our 1 game bracket final. 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3. Winners bowled each other for the title.
It was the day for the #4 seeds in the final…..it was also the day OF THE TIE!
In Scratch, #4 seed Zachary Dragovits won the title. (Rest of story to follow)
