The PJBT rolled back into Suburban Bowlerama in York for the first time in many years.  We would like to thank Terry Miller and BowlerMaxx Pro Shops for sponsoring our event.  45 bowlers competed in the event.

In scratch, Kurtis Stidd captured his 1st ever Scratch Division Title.  Stidd led the scratch field in qualifying at +177 after 5 games.  In match play, he only 1 of 3 matches and slipped to 3rd place while tournament leader Roger Harford Jr shot 804 during match play.  In the finals, we saw Tristan Leyen shoot 300 in Match 1.  This earned him $88 for the 300 Pot.  Match 2 saw Stidd defeat Leyen 278-190.  Stidd then took on 2nd seed Christian Francis.  Stidd defeated Francis 257-220.  In the title match, it was Stidd and Harford.  The match was a shootout….as bowl bowlers were on 279 pace for some time…but in the end Stidd outlasted Harford Jr 268-253 to take home the title.  Stidd shot 803 in the final 3 games.

In Handicap, Jenna Hunsicker took home her first PJBT title.  Jenna’s route to victory was a tough one.  Jenna sat tied for 6th after qualifying.  She only captured 1 victory of 3 games in match play but was fourtunate enough to sit 4th entering the finals.  Then, she turned it on and walked the stepladder.  She won every stepladder match.  She first defeated Katelyn Musselman 178-156. Next, she defeated Jill Sprenkle 173-147.  In the semi-final, Hunsicker defeated Bailey Fisher 221-180.  In the title match, she defeated Michael Baker 250-223 and took home the top prize.
