The BuddiesProShop.com Adult Bowlers Tour continued its season with a $1000 Guaranteed Top Prize Singles Event at AMF Parkway Lanes in Allentown, PA. This event saw 43 bowlers compete in a 6 game qualifier block. The top 5 bowlers advanced to a stepladder final while the top 8 bowlers cashed in the event. The event was conducted on the 43ft Tokyo Pattern.
On this day, Rick Graham of Lancaster, PA, took home the championship. Graham bowled a solid 6 game block of qualifying. He shot 212, 191, 232, 242, 232, and 217 for a 6 Game Total of 1126 (+126). Graham sat as the tournament leader entering the stepladder final. Graham led a field of 2nd seed Jason Cornog, 3rd seed Eric Cornog, 4th seed Brent Tishuk, and 5th seed John Rubeo. Cut for top 5 was +52 for 6 Games…..8th place to cash was +25.
In the finals:
Match 1 saw Brent Tishuk defeat John Rubeo 174-141 – John finished 5th for $100
Match 2 saw Jason Cornog defeat Brent Tishuk 183-160 – Tishuk finished 4th for $200
The semi-final match saw the Cornog brothers take on each other – Jason vs brother Eric Cornog. Eric Cornog defeated Jason Cornog 235-191 – Jason finished 3rd for $250
Title Match: Graham defeated Jason Cornog for the title 206-192 — Graham won $1000 for winner and Jason took home runner-up prize of $500.
