Brent Tishuk Wins 2016 Adult Inviational at Leisure Lanes

The BuddiesProShop.com Adult Bowlers Tour finished off its 2015-2016 season with our invitational event at Leisure Lanes in Lancaster, PA.

The format for our invitational was 3 squads of qualifying.  Bowlers could bowl in one or all of the squads of qualifying.  1:5 bowlers from each squad advanced to our cashers round on Day 2 of the event.  Cashers round bowlers bowled an additional five games with scores carrying forward.  At completion of cashers round, top 5 bowlers advanced to our stepladder finals.  Finals were televised live on our pjbtbowlingseries page on youtube.

This year’s event saw 73 entries over 3 squads compete.  14 Bowlers advanced to cashers round.

After 11 games of qualifying, our tournament leader was John Furey at +174.  The other finalists included Tishuk, who was seeded 2nd at +136.  3rd was Joe Paluszek, 4th was Mike Markis, and 5th was Isaac Kim.

In the televised finals, Match 1 saw Mike Markis defeat Isaac Kim 223-201.  In our 2nd match, Markis kept winning.  He defeated Joe Paluszek 188-176.  In the semi-final, Tishuk defeated Markis 219-214.  This setup our title match for the invitational between #1 seed John Furey & #2 Brent Tishuk.  Tishuk got off to a strong start while Furey struggled to string strikes together.  In the end, Tishuk defeated Furey 234-183 to take the $2500 title.  All 14 bowlers who cashed are listed below.  Thanks to all who competed.
