Dragovits & Mirza capture titles in first ever event at Bristol Pike

The PJBT rolled into the Philadelphia region for the first time.  To follow the Parker Bohn Tournament, we held a singles event at AMF Bristol Pike Lanes in Croydon, PA.  Thanks to Willy J’s Pro Shop for sponsoring this new PJBT event. In Scratch, Zachary Dragovits captured the first title in Scratch for Pennsylvania.  To this point, all our scratch winners resided outside of PA.  Dragovits shot 1145 in qualifying and was seeded 3rd.  He won his match play matches but still sat 3rd entering the finals.  Dragovits won 3 stepladder matches to win the title….defeating Alden Everett 230-193, Jarrett DeFalco 279-246 and Jack Cook in the final 233-225.In Handicap, Harris Mirza of New York won his first ever PJBT Title.  Harris went +49 and was seeded 5th entering match play.  He won 2 of his 3 matches and was seeded 2nd entering the finals….only trailing tournament leader Emily Tull.  Mirza defeated KC Miller 172-168 and Tull 159-130 in the final to win.Thanks to AMF Bristol Pike Lanes for a great new event.
