Ed Bulkilvish Walks Ladder to Win $1000 Top Prize

The BuddiesProShop.com Adult Bowlers Tour continued its year with a $1000 Guaranteed First Place Event at Town & Country Lanes in Bethlehem, PA.

On this day, 40 competitors took on a Unique Kegel Created Pattern.  Format for this event was our basic 6 game qualifier with top 5 advancing to the finals.  Payouts were were to the top 8 for this event.  1:5 ratio.

On this day, Ed Bulkilvish captured the top prize.  Bulkilvish pulled a solid 6 game qualifying block of 1296.  He had games of 194, 224, 235, 233, 221, and 189.  This squeaked him into the finals as the #5 seed of 5.  To win he would need to walk the ladder and beat 3 current PBA members.  Doesn’t sound easy….but he accomplished it on this day.

In the finals, Bulkilvish started by bowling upcoming PBA Star Anthony Pepe.  In a close stepladder match, Bulkilvish defeated Pepe 198-191.  Match 2 saw Bulkilvish take on Jay Boyle.  Boyle was our over 45 Winner on the day.  Bulkilvish won this match decisively 225-183.  In the semi-final, Bulkilvish took on his friend Ernie Lukacs.  Bulkilvish dominated the match and won 210-154.  This propelled Bulkilvish into the title match vs #1 seed Brent Tishuk.  Bulkilvish saved his best game for last!  He shot 260 in the title match and won 260-210.

Bulkilvish won the $1000 top prize.  Remainder of Prize List Payouts below.
