Championship Sunday began with our annual awards ceremony. Parker Bohn III helped hand out all the awards. Matt and the PJBT brass thanked everyone for a great season. Travis brought up all the younger competitors and gave them homework… to make sure they told a friend how fun it is bowl and encourage them to spend a day bowling. Bradley Crouse took home the day’s biggest award, the Harry Mack Achievement Award for Bowler of the Year. He earned high challenge shot average and scratch points, in addition to seven titles in the regular season. Taylor Forman swept all the girls handicap awards, and earned the handicap division’s sportsmanship award. Tom Barna, Jr. won scratch sportsmanship for the second striaght year. Sarah Kirch swept both average awards for scratch girls, high series, and points award. James Carnal won boys handicap points. For the other average awards, Brandon Runk won high scratch house, Dan Althouse won high handicap house, and Ryan Goddard won high handicap challenge. Conrad Chapple won best match play. Austin Slater’s 835 was the season’s high series. Matthew Forry’s 740 was high series in boys handicap. Individual USBC honors and Junior Gold shirts were also handed out by Parker and Matt.
