85 bowlers partied on New Year’s Eve at Strike Zone Alleys. Brandon Runk set Strike Zone Alleys on fire last year. Â His scores weren’t as high this year, but he led most of the way to repeat as champion. Â Runk’s only loss in match play was a 299-289 thriller to Tyler Dautrich. Â In the final, Runk defeated Michael Bortz, 228-189. Â Runk earned the $200 top scholarship prize. Kaylee Malloy won her first singles title and second overall in handicap. Â She defeated Kaeli McMasters, 251-198, in the final. Â She averaged 197 for 9 games, and won the $200 top scholarship prize. Walter Tomlin earned his entry to 2014 Junior Gold in Buffalo.
